Important Information about a Data Breach
Dear supporter,
This week, Natasha’s Foundation was informed about a national data breach involving Beacon, a third-party system that we use to store and manage supporters’ information, which has affected us as well as many other charities.
We understand that this will be worrying to those affected, and we want to reassure you that we do not store any banking details on Beacon.
Protecting your personal information is extremely important to us and, at present, there is no evidence that your personal information has been misused.
However, we recommend that you remain vigilant and take extra care with any unexpected emails, text messages, or phone calls claiming to be from Natasha's Foundation or referring to food allergies, donations or fundraising activities. Natasha’s Foundation will never ask for your passwords or sensitive financial information by email or phone.
We’re truly sorry that this has happened. We are working hard with Beacon to establish the facts as quickly as possible and we will be in touch if we are given more information.
In the meantime, we have created FAQs to provide you with further information.
Information is also available directly from Beacon at: www.beaconcrm.org/incident-faqs
If you have any questions, please get in touch at: info@natashasfoundation.org.uk
Kind regards,
Natasha's Foundation
