To support our vision of a future without food allergy, we are expanding our Corporate Partnerships and Fundraising team, including a new leadership role to strengthen engagement with corporate partners and strategic stakeholders.

As part of this expansion, we are recruiting across several roles within the Corporate Partnerships and Fundraising team:
Director of Corporate Partnerships and Fundraising - a team leadership role, leading the strategic engagement with our corporate partners and stakeholders.
Head of Corporate Partnerships - a strategic partnership development role, building innovative business collaborations and fundraising initiatives.
Corporate Partnerships Managers – working directly with our corporate stakeholders and supporters, developing innovative and successful partnerships.
These leadership roles will work closely together to cultivate new supporters, and steward existing relationships that help power our research and mission.

About the Role
We are seeking an exceptional Director of Corporate Partnerships and Fundraising to lead the Foundation’s income generation strategy and drive sustainable growth.
As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will play a central role in shaping and delivering the Foundation’s fundraising ambitions, developing high-value partnerships and building a diversified portfolio of income streams. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working closely with the Foundation’s founders, you will lead the development of strategic corporate partnerships while strengthening philanthropic giving, trust and foundation relationships, individual giving and mass participation programmes.
The Foundation already benefits from a strong fundraising base, including a growing portfolio of more than 80 corporate partners. The successful candidate will build on this momentum to secure new six and seven-figure partnerships, deepen existing relationships and unlock innovative opportunities for long-term collaboration. This is a highly visible leadership role that requires a strategic thinker, an exceptional relationship builder and a passionate advocate for the Foundation’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Income Growth
Develop and deliver an ambitious fundraising strategy aligned with the Foundation’s long-term vision and research ambitions.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of high-value opportunities with corporate partnerships.
Diversify income streams across corporate partnerships, philanthropic giving, trusts and foundations, individual giving and mass participation initiatives.
Identify and develop innovative fundraising opportunities that leverage the Foundation’s networks and growing public profile.
Lead the development of compelling funding propositions, proposals and presentations that inspire corporate and philanthropic investment.
Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners, major donors, philanthropic supporters and grant-making organisations.
Identify and secure new strategic partnerships with organisations aligned to the Foundation’s mission and values.
Work closely with colleagues across the organisation to deliver impactful campaigns, events and stakeholder engagement initiatives that support fundraising objectives.
Represent the Foundation at external meetings, events and speaking opportunities, acting as a credible and passionate ambassador.
Leadership and Collaboration
Lead and develop a high-performing fundraising function, creating a collaborative and motivated team culture.
Provide leadership, coaching and support to colleagues working across fundraising activities.
Work with teams across the organisation to ensure fundraising activity aligns with strategic priorities.
Contribute actively as a member of the Senior Leadership Team to the overall direction and development of the Foundation.
Performance and Governance
Take accountability for fundraising targets, budgets and financial forecasting.
Monitor performance and ensure effective reporting through management and governance structures.
Ensure all fundraising activity complies with relevant legislation, including the Fundraising Regulator Code of Practice, GDPR and data protection requirements.
Work closely with finance colleagues to ensure effective financial management and reporting of income.
Person Specification
Essential Experience, Skills and Attributes
Significant senior-level fundraising experience within the charity or not-for-profit sector.
A proven track record of securing major partnerships and high-value gifts from corporates, trusts, foundations and high-net-worth individuals.
Demonstrable success in developing and implementing fundraising strategies that deliver significant income growth.
Experience managing budgets, forecasting income and analysing financial performance.
Outstanding communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
The ability to represent an organisation credibly at a senior level.
Strong stakeholder management experience, including working with senior leaders and external partners.
Strategic, commercially aware and results-driven.
Proactive, entrepreneurial and comfortable identifying new opportunities.
