Harry Kitto was just 24 years old and nearing the end of a trip of a lifetime through South America with his girlfriend, Naomi, when he suffered a fatal allergic reaction after eating a dessert at a café in Buenos Aires, despite having informed staff of his peanut allergy.

Following the inquest into Harry’s death, The Post reported on Natasha’s Foundation’s response and the heartbreaking reality faced by families affected by food allergy.

Having supported Harry’s family since the tragedy, the Foundation’s founder, Tanya Ednan-Laperouse OBE, spoke of the devastating loss of a young man with his whole life ahead of him, highlighting the serious risks of food allergy and the urgent need for greater awareness, understanding and safety, particularly when travelling abroad.
