We have some incredible news to share with you.

Natasha's legacy has now been laid in parliament and is know as "Natasha's Law". It includes stricter requirements for pre-packaged foods to carry a full ingredients list.

During our campaigning, we have had incredible support from the public, and also from government; Micheal Gove, Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster was hugely instrumental in ensuring Natasha's Law became a reality.

With other high-profile allergy fatalities since Natasha’s death, the food industry has had to recognise the need for it to change allergen information labelling. Natasha’s Law will come into effect in October 2021 to allow a transition period for businesses to properly implement the new regulations. The Food Standards Agency will ensure businesses take the right steps to make labelling both accurate and fully effective. www.gov.uk/government/news/natashas-legacy-becomes-law

“The introduction of Natasha’s Law brings greater transparency about what people are buying and eating, lays down new standards for the food companies, and highlights the battle against the growing epidemic of allergies,” commented Zac Goldsmith, Food Minister.

Thank you so much for your support, we couldn’t have done it with out you.

Nadim, Tanya, Alex and everyone at The Natasha Allergy Research Foundation.
